Get Started with Shoehorn
By the end of this guide you’ll have Shoehorn running on your Kubernetes cluster, your team signed in through your identity provider, and at least one service in the catalog.
Time required: about an hour, most of it waiting for pods to come up.
The five steps
Section titled “The five steps”- Prerequisites: cluster, DNS, identity provider, secrets to prepare before you touch anything.
- Install: pick Terraform or Helm and run the install.
- First login: sign in, map an admin group, confirm the platform is healthy.
- First entity: connect a cluster or drop a manifest. Something shows up in the catalog.
- Next steps: hand off to Day-2: auth, integrations, Forge.
